PART TIME POSITION

3 DAYS A WEEK

£30,000 pro rata

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our large well established organisation Rape Crisis South London (RCSL). We are looking for an experienced female officer for 3 days a week with an extensive background in income generation from a variety of both existing and potential sources. This position entails fundraising for RCSL to secure future service provision, raising the profile of RCSL on social media and networking with other agencies, within the voluntary, private and statutory sectors. The position is offered on a self employed basis.  

The post holder will:

Identify new income opportunities for RCSL.

Create a strategy to maximise upon these opportunities

Identify, research and create a strategy for new potential income opportunities

Establish links with the corporate sector to attract support, partnerships and potential business opportunities

Generate income for RCSL through both existing and potential sources

Develop a strategy to engage individual supporters and donors

Identify ways to raise RCSL’s profile

Raise RCSL’S profile on Social Media sites

Work with management to develop a three-year fundraising strategy

Qualifications & Experience: To have been in a similar role for at least two years in a voluntary or paid capacity. Or educated in the relevant subjects. To have an Understanding of the Violence Against Women Sector (preferred although training will be given)
